RADAR CANNABIS PROJECT

RADAR CANNABIS PROJECT

RADAR was awarded a two-year grant (Sept. 2020-Sept. 2022) from the Mental Health Commission of Canada to conduct a participatory video project on cannabis use among people with mental health issues. The aim of this project is to produce three educational documentary videos about cannabis use and mental health, with the intention of informing the public and reducing stigma around these topics.

All three videos were completed in February 2022 and are now available on our YouTube channel. The videos (each around 10 minutes in length) are in English, but contain French and English subtitles. We held a well-attended virtual premiere screening on February 16th, 2022 which included a lively panel discussion with the film directors and producers.

If you would like to organize a private screening to your organization with a panel discussion (in-person or virtually), please contact Rob Whitley at robert.whitley@mcgill.ca
